Silesia, makers of high quality food flavors, expanded their Illinois plant. DuraTrench trench drains were chosen for spill containment. The specified DTCF8-HDSS vinyl-ester trench body with heavy duty stainless steel frame is a forklift rated pre-manufactured system with a equally load rated stainless steel grate. Drains were laid out such to prevent spills from migrating into other parts of the facility. Pre-sloped long channel sections and factory manufactured turns, tees, and pre-attached outlets allowed the drain to be installed quickly. All channel connections were sealed with a provided resin kit per facility requirements. This product specification, DTCF8-10B24SSD-HDSS, reduced overall cost by eliminating the more expensive stainless steel trench drains.
