We did a highly technical test 🙂 We used a pot of boiling water and placed a strip of DuraTrench prefabricated trench drain in the water. We left it for 15 minutes and then tried to see if it would flex, break, or otherwise show signs of defect. There were no signs of any kind of damage caused by boiling water.
